We have added some features to make uploading within Design Center easier for you.

• Removed the need to reload the page after uploading, status updates every 10 seconds until complete, going from upload, to processing, to complete
• Added ability to sort the various Upload columns (File Name, Designer, Status, and Last Activity)
• Added a date range filter to the Upload results.  Works the same way as in the Review page, you only see PSDs uploaded within that time range

Bug Fixes

• Image wrap photobooks were sometimes loading in the Builder without the covers displaying
• Some prints builder functionality (changing quantity, deleting a photo, editing a photo) was not working at the visual level in the tray after clicking Continue Shopping
• The arrow in the text editor that takes you to the next text region was not working on address labels
• The Builder was not loading for a particular sku that had no active templates
• Double clicking on the Load Project button for photo books and then saving was causing missing content
• Text region boundaries in the Builder were expanding outside the product area on some premium canvas templates
• Text within the Get Started popup box was occasionally formatted badly

We have added some exciting new features to our text capabilities in the Builder.  As shown below, these new features will improve usability, speed, product quality, and value, as well as make the process more fun for customers.

• Keep Text - text a user has created and the settings they choose are kept after changing the design or layout
• Spell Check - automatic spellcheck will underline mispelled words
• Zoom Text Area - the user now types in a zoomed in text box on the product instead of in a popup box
• Type with Chosen Settings - as the user is typing, the displayed text reflects the user’s choices for font face, font size, text color, alignment, and underline
• Variable Text - change font face, font size, text color, alignment, or underline for any portion of text
• Fit Warning – a warning appears when the amount of text exceeds what can fit in the text box
• Font Choices - the drop down list shows what the font face choices look like before choosing one
• Font Size - quickly change font size using a slide bar
• Underline – underline any word within the text block
• Vertical Alignment - choose between Top, Center, and Bottom alignment for text

Form Text Enhancements

We also have added new features to our form text:

• Next and Previous Buttons - quickly navigate to the next and previous text boxes
• Example Text - example text is displayed to help the user complete the text box
Spell Check - automatic spellcheck will underline mispelled words
Fit Warning – a warning appears when the amount of text exceeds what can fit in the text box

Bug Fixes

• Newly saved projects were not visible in the View Projects window without requiring a refresh
• The Add to Cart button in the prints builder was becoming disabled after adding some photos to the tray and then clicking on Add More and adding more photos to the tray
• Photos were failing to upload without generating a failure message for the uploads that did not complete

We have created a number of new filter options to make managing your designs easier than ever.  There are now filter buttons for four template statuses: Pending, Approved, Published, and Archived.  On every Design Manager page except the Review page, you can use these to turn the filters On or Off to only see templates or the parent designs of templates with those statuses.  You can select multiple filter categories to view templates from a number of statuses at once.  On the Review page, you can filter your PSDs with these same filter options.

• Pending – this is the initial status of a template after uploading
• Approved – this means that the template has been reviewed by either a Designer or Administrator and it is approved to be published
• Published – this means that the template can now be used in the ezp Builder on your website. This replaces the former ‘Active’ status
• Archived – once a template has been published, it can’t be deleted, you can only move it to “Archived” status. A template that is archived will not be accessible on your website even if it is in your design collection.  (You can still delete templates with a ”Pending” or “Approved” status)

On the Review page, as you type in the search box, it will filter to a list of PSDs with names that partially match.  If you type and hit Enter, it selects the first one on the list and loads the templates that were created from it. You can then click to the others in the list or backspace in the box to expand your search.

On the Sort Collection page, as you are typing in the input field for Manage Categories it now autocompletes giving you a list of existing categories that match what you are typing. You can select one from the list to add or hit Enter which will add what you have typed.

On the Edit Collection page, you can toggle between “In my collection” and “Not in My Collection” and only see those designs, or turn off the filter and see all designs.

Bug Fixes

• Within Design Manager, a PDF overlay in the XML was not allowing the image generation step for proofs / thumbs to complete. This caused the template to not show properly in the template tray in the builder
• When importing 2 page designs for 4 sided cards, the outside of the card was upside down in the production xml, so the images were showing upside down on the outside of the card, which is super wrong
• Within Design Manager, a Helvetica matching issue was causing template errors

To make sorting a collection easier for you, especially for seasonal designs, you can now move all designs within a category to the front or back of a collection with the click of a button.

Bug Fixes

• Switching between brands within the Order Manager was causing an error and forcing the user to sign back in
• When a design collection was empty, the sort collection page was hanging at ‘Retrieved Designs…’ instead of presenting a message saying the collection is empty
• The drop down for searching dates on the Review Page within Design Center was not working in Internet Explorer 8

In our unending effort to make it easier for our partners to manage their collections, we have added category tabs to the Design Manager.  Now all of your products and templates for a category can be viewed on the same page.  This will eliminate tedious searching for products and help you to keep your collection organized.

Bug Fixes

• After creating a collection in Design Manager, the user was not being taken to the edit or upload page
• After adding a new collection in Design Manager, the button was occasionally disabled so that the user could not add another collection

Our new photo edit toolbar will allow your customers to make easy photo edits when they are ordering prints or adding them to a product in the Builder:

• Move Photo – move photos up, down, left, or right
• Zoom - slide the bar or click on the Zoom In or Zoom Out buttons
• Rotate – rotate the photo to the desired orientation
• Adjust Tint - select between color, black and white, or sepia
• Reset Photo – reset to the original look of the photo

Bug Fixes

• When adding all photos from an album, the last photo would display at the top of the photo tray and the first one towards the bottom
• The Prevew button was not loading up if a photo book was loaded from a non-book view
• When adding prints builder projects of the same SKU to the cart multiple times, they could not be removed with a single click of Remove
• Saved projects were not able to be sorted by date or description
• If a user added photos wthout logging in, then logged in, the uploaded photos were not merging into the account
